Hello. I’m Kelvin O’Bryant, an actor working and living in Los Angeles.

Thank you for stopping by and checking out my work. Full disclosure, I’m really bad at writing Bios, but here goes…

I was born and raised in South Carolina. While in high school I was cast in two multimillion dollar budget films, O & The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys. I’m a proud alum of the theater program at the University of South Carolina. Go Gamecocks. During my senior year of college I was personally invited by Bonnie Monte, Artistic Director, to The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey’s prestigious apprentice program. While there I was cast in two main stage shows, Love’s Labour’s Lost & Richard II. My performance as Harry Percy in Richard II received a Special Mention in the New York Times. After graduation I packed two bags and hopped on a plane to Los Angeles to start my career.

I’m eternally grateful for every opportunity that has come my way. I’ve shot close to 20 national commercials for global brands including: Coca Cola, McDonald’s, Best Buy, Honda, & Taco Bell. I’ve made numerous guest appearances on Network and Cable shows such as CBS’s The Unit & FX’s You’re the Worst. I’ve also had the honor working with multiple Academy Award Nominated artists on film projects including: The Midnight Meat Train, starring Bradley Cooper & Ink, directed by: Marianne Jean Baptiste.

There’s nothing so kingly as kindness, and nothing so royal as truth.

I’m, without question, a work in progress. Conquering my personal insecurities to find truth in my work is the daily struggle. Some days I’m victorious. Some days I fail miserably. Either way, I get stronger. That’s the mission: Get a little bit stronger every day. Thanks again for stopping by. Stay tuned!

Much love,

Kel
